Memory Box Sparkle and Shine
Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
This week's challenge theme is Sparkle and Shine
We are featuring products from Memory Box. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
I am happy to share a project using the Memory Box Falling Snowflake stencil to create a colorful and sparkly splash of snowflakes. I am also sharing a technique that might be over looked with stencils.
I began by stenciling the snowflakes from the stencil onto white cardstock by masking off the snowflakes I wanted to use. I call this image isolating. I did this by using cheap copy paper and cutting out a mask with scissors to fit the desired snowflake size.
I used distress inks and a blender brush to add a rainbow of color to the stenciled snowflakes in a diagonal pattern. Then on a seperate piece of white cardstock I created more rainbow snowflakes using the same technique except this time I fussy cut them out and popped them up on the card using foam squares. Last for some sparkle and shine, I added stickles and sequins.
I hope you enjoyed the project I have made for this week's challenge and got some inspiration!
I have listed all the supplies I used. I have provided affiliate links at no additional cost to you that help support this blog. Thanks for stopping by!
