All the Stars card
Hello crafty friends! I'm showing some love to items in my stash that haven't been used in a while. Hope you get some inspiration to "shop" your stash and create!
I created this mini-slimline card using a white cardstock base. The base is about 3 1/4 inches by 6 1/4 inches. I then trimmed down a piece of gray cardstock to leave a bit of a white border and ran that through my Swirled Ridges embossing folder for some amazing texture.
I used tape runner all over the back of that embossed panel to make sure it stuck nice and flat to my cardbase. I always use a little extra adhesive when adhering a piece of cardstock that has lots of texture.
I then took the Stars die set and cut out several stars from various shades of cardstock scraps. This is a great die set that has so many sizes of stars to cut out at once! I then spent what seemed like 10 hoursπ arranging the stars across the embossed panel before I adhered them with foam squares and liquid glue.
I die cut the Joyful sentiment out and fussy cut the Joy out. I really enjoy the font from CZ designs. I cut out about 3 times and glued together for thickness and added it to the bottom right corner of the card front. I stamped the sub-sentiment using white pigment ink and heat set it with white embossing powder and popped it up next to the Joy.
I hope you enjoyed the project I have made for this week's challenge and got some inspiration!
