Gina K Designs Anything Goes

Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge theme  Anything Goes!

We are featuring products from Gina K Designs. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
I am sharing the gorgeous Gina K Designs Zinnia stencil with a project I have made for this week's stencil. I'm also in need of a cheery birthday card for a friend and thought this stencil would be perfect to use.
I made this card using an A2 size card base cut from smooth white cardstock. I then took another piece of cardstock to use the Zinnia stencil to create a colorful and textured background using distress ink and transparent texture gloss.
After I added the distress ink through the stencil, I left it in place and added the texture glaze over the stencil with an of- set spatula. I set it aside to dry as I went to clean off the stencil and spatula immediately. Once dry it's very hard to remove.
I trimmed down the stenciled panel to fit the card base to leave a white border. I then die cut the sentiment from white cardstock three times for thickness. I stamped the sub-sentiment in embossing ink and heat set it with white embossing powder on a coral strip of cardstock. I finished the card of with small die cut butterflies using gold cardstock.
I hope you enjoyed the project I have made for this week's challenge and got some inspiration!
I have listed all the supplies I used. I have provided affiliate links at no additional cost to you that help support this blog. Thanks for stopping by!
