Trio of Gift Tags

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing a trio of gift tags. I just love having a stash of gift tags available when I need them. I used one of the new emboss and cut folders from the Simon Says Stamp recent release.
I made each tag using a tag die from my stash that I have had for about 10 years. I cut them from white cardstock. I then cut out a panel for each tag using light gray speckled cardstock to leave a white border.
The flowers are from the Simon Says Stamp Tumbling Flowers emboss and cut folder. Using the die that comes with the folder, I cut each flower first, then placed them in the folder to emboss and finally colored each one with copic markers. I embossed the leaves with using a metallic colored cardstock and trimmed them out with scissors.
I then stamped and heat set the sentiment using liquid platinum embossing powder and clear ink. I then used a paint brush to flick some gray distress ink on the panels and adhered them to the white tag. I also adhered the flowers and the leaves with foam squares. I tied ribbon and twine at the top of each tag.
I hope you enjoyed the project I have made and got some inspiration! For your convenience I have listed and linked the supplies I have used. The links below are affiliate links which means at no additional costs to you that helps support my blog. Thank you so much for stopping by!
