Hero Arts Anything Goes Tribute to Sidnie

Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge theme is Anything Goes!

We are featuring products from the amazing Hero Arts. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
I made two projects for this week's challenge using the Hero Arts Stacked Circle stencil on both. One is dedicated to my friend Sidnie who lost her fierce battle with cancer recently. I met Sidnie when I joined the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge team many years ago. She was a mentor to me and others that were new on the team. She has been missed so much and always will be. πŸ’”
I began with an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then cut a panel of white cardstock and taped it to my desk.
I added several colors of distress ink and then laid the stencil over the panel and taped the stencil down. I then added darker distress ink over the stencil to create a fun and interesting background.
I added some white paint splatters and then trimmed down the ink blended panel to fit the card base and leave a bit of a border. I die cut the sentiment from holographic cardstock and stamped the sub-sentiment onto a strip of cardstock that coordinated with the inked panel.
Next is the project dedicated to Sidnie:
I used an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then stenciled a dark yellow ink over a piece of light yellow cardstock to create my background pattern.
I then die cut the floral frame several times. Three times from white cardstock for thickness, once from orange, pink and red cardstock. I paper pieces the colored cardstock pieces into the open area of the white frame. I adhered it to the ink blended panel and added it to the card base. I then die cut the words miss you from white cardstock and adhered them with foam pieces.
I hope you enjoyed the projects I have made for the challenge and got some inspiration!
