Happy Autumn Painted Leaves card
Hello crafty friends! My favorite time of the year is so close I can almost feel it through the 90 degree weather! I am sharing a great technique for those of us who love to watercolor but just don't have the amazing talent like watercolor artists out there!
I began with an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then used a sheet of Tim Holtz watercolor paper to create a fun background. I ran the watercolor paper through the leafy greens embossing folder.
I then used several of the beautiful colors from a set of mica watercolors using a paint brush to create a autumnal background with some shine. I then die cut the sentiment from copper metallic cardstock and the shadow from white cardstock and added it to the card with foam squares.
I then stamped the sub-sentiment in clear embossing ink and heat set it with white embossing folder on a strip of dark red cardstock. I again used foam squares to adhere the strip to the cardbase.
I hope you enjoyed the project I have made and got some inspiration! For your convenience I have listed and linked the supplies I have used. The links below are affiliate links which means at no additional costs to you that helps support my blog. I also have a short reel on Instagram showing you a little bit of the process if you want to check that out! Thank you so much for stopping by!
