Simon Says Stamp Add Some Sparkle

Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge theme is Add Some Sparkle!

We are featuring exclusive products from Simon Says Stamp. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
I always look forward to the challenges that feature Simon Says Stamp products. I might be a little biased but they are my favorite!! I have added a subtle bit of sparkle to my project that I am sharing for this week's challenge.
I began with an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then took another piece of white cardstock to create an ink blended panel with distress inks. I then ran it through my die cut machine using the Simon Says Stamp Margot Tile embossing folder
I used a sandpaper tool to remove a layer of ink off the embossed panel to reveal the white paper below to emphasize the pattern of the embossing folder. After I trimmed a bit off each side I adhered the panel to the card base with tape runner. Pro tip: make sure to add extra adhesive to the corners of a embossed panel as they are very lumpy and will tend to lift over time.
I then die cut the gorgeous Simon Says Stamp Etched Magnolia Blossom flower die twice from white cardstock. I arranged them together after using distress ink and a small blending tool to add a bit of subtle color to the centers of the petals. Using a brown copic marker and white gel pen I colored the pieces to create the dark centers of each flower. I adhered the flowers together with liquid glue. The flowers were adhered to the card with 3d foam squares. The sentiment was created using the letters cut out of dark brown cardstock using the CZ Little Banner Basics dies.
I hope you enjoyed the project I have made for this challenge and got some inspiration! You can do it!!
For your convenience I have listed and linked the supplies I have used. The links below are affiliate links which means at no additional costs to you I will make a small percentage of each item your purchase which helps support my blog. Thank you so much for stopping by!
