Altenew Beautiful Blooms

 Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge theme is Beautiful Blooms!

We are featuring products from Altenew. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
This week's theme is so perfect for this time of year. Love, love, love cards with that feature flowers. I have paired my flowers with a very cute Words and Banners stamp and die set from Altenew.
I began with an A2 card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down another piece of white cardstock to be a bit smaller than the card base. I ran that through the woven embossing folder. Next, I grabbed several of scrap pieces of colored cardstock to die cut out a dozen of the same flower. I added a foam square behind each flower and added them to the woven panel. 
I used a clear embossing ink pad to swipe directly on to a square of white cardstock. poured gold embossing powder over it and heat set it. When is was cool, I used a hole punch to punch out the small centers for my flowers. I added them with liquid glue. I also heat set the sentiment and die cut it out using the coordinating tag die. I tied twine around the woven panel with the flowers three times and taped it together on the back. I then tied the tag on with a bow.

Check out this exclusive promotion for stopping by today!!👇👇 I have created a couple of projects to share using some of the amazing goodies from the new Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember release. I created this card with an A2 card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down a panel of Yupo paper to create an autumnal background using alcohol inks. When it was dry I trimmed it down to fit the card base leaving a bit of a white border. I then die cut a frame from white cardstock and added to the card with liquid glue. I have used the new Gift Bag die to create fun Easter themed treat bags.  This project was made using the Bunny Kisses stamp set and coordinating dies . I stamped the bunnies in pink and gray inks and the die cut them out and popped them up on the treat bag using 3d foam squares. I also die cut a few flowers and arrange them around the bunnies. For the next treat bag I trimmed out a pink cardstock rectangle for the background and adhered it using liquid glue. I then die cut the Fancy Happy Easter die from white and yellow cardstock.
