My Favorite Things Anything Goes
Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
This week's challenge theme is Anything Goes!
We are featuring products from My Favorite Things. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
This week I am sharing one of my favorite background stamps. I am create two projects using the My Favorite Things Romantic Script background cling stamp. One is stamped using the heat embossed resist technique. The other is just stamping over a stenciled background.
Both cards are made with an A2 size card base cut from smooth white cardstock.
I first used a floral stencil and distress ink to create the background pattern. When it was completely dry, I stamped the script background over the the stenciled panel with a sticky ink and the heat embossed it using white embossing powder. I trimmed it down to leave a bit of a white border.
This panel was stenciled with distress oxide inks. I then used a coordinating distress oxide ink to add the scripty image over the flourish pattern. I then die cut the center using a circle and heart die. I then created the shaker image with foam tape and acetate.
I die cut the "thanks" three times from white cardstock for thickness. I stamped the sub-sentiment using sticky ink and white embossing powder on a strip of coral cardstock.
I hope you enjoyed the projects I have made for this challenge and got some inspiration! For your convenience I have listed and linked the supplies I have used below. Thank you so much for stopping by!
