Whirl Butterfly tag

I am happy to share a fun project made with a few of the goodies from the new Simon Says Stamp Celebrate release. I used the new Whirl Butterflies die and Flower Power stencil to create a this tag.
Using a tag die from my stash, I cut it twice. Once from white cardstock and once from yellow cardstock. Using the Flower Power stencil and soft colored inks I created a pretty background on the white tag.
I then die cut the Whirl Butterflies from red and pink colored cardstock. I adhered them to the stenciled tag with foam squares. I used white puffy paint to create the bodies for the butterflies for a bit of dimension. I then stamped the sentiment on white cardstock and used the coordinating die to cut it out.

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Blog Party

I'm so happy to be sharing inspiration for the STAMPtember blog party! Happy 15th anniversary!! Check out this exclusive promotion for stopping by today!!👇👇 I have created a couple of projects to share using some of the amazing goodies from the new Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember release. I created this card with an A2 card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down a panel of Yupo paper to create an autumnal background using alcohol inks. When it was dry I trimmed it down to fit the card base leaving a bit of a white border. I then die cut a frame from white cardstock and added to the card with liquid glue. I then die cut the new Fancy Just Because die from more white cardstock. The butterflies were cut from matte gold cardstock using the new Ooh La La Butterflies die and adhered with a glue dot in the middle so their wings could pop up.
