I adhered them to  panel of white cardstock in a diagonal pattern. I then trimmed down the panel and added to the card base. I then die cut the flowers from white cardstock and used distress ink to color them in. I used a brown copic marker to color the stems and the centers of the flowers. I used foams squares to adhere them to the card. I then die cut the sentiment and shadow again from white cardstock and

Trio of Star tag set

I'm happy to be sharing a project using the fun Whirl Stars die set from the new Simon Says Stamp Festive Fun release. I created these festive tags using a stitched tag die from my stash cut from white cardstock. I then used some distress ink to blend the edges of each tag for some interest. I then used a dot embossing folder to add texture to them as well. I then die cut the stars from red and green cardstock. Again, I applied distress ink to the edges of the stars for some added interest. I used a white gel pen to add dot detail to the red star. I added the stars to the tags using foam adhesive squares. I used a small circle die to cut out a reinforced tag topper and then used a hole puncher to create an opening on the topper for the ribbon to go through. I die cut the sentiment for each tag out of gold cardstock and also from fun foam for thickness and dimension and glued them to the bottom of each tag. Last, I added a little wooden button to each green star with liquid glue fo

I'm happy to be participating in day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Festive Fun blog hop. I am sharing 3  projects using a few of the items from this new release .  Merry Wishes: I die cut the images from the Holiday Baking Essentials die set and colored them using copic markers and arrange them around the stamped sentiment with foam adhesive to pop them up. I had created a vintage background using a buffalo check stamp. Sending You Joy: I made this card with an white card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then die cut the Abundant Leaf background die several times from different colors of cardstock. I paper pieced the stems, leaves and berries onto another piece of white cardstock and added to the card base. Three Snowmen: I used the Bundled Snowmen embossing folder and coordinating dies to create these adorable little snowmen. I first die cut them out from white cardstock and then placed the cut images into the embossing folder to create the impression. I used copic mark

Hello crafty friends! I am so happy to be sharing a project using some goodies from the new Simon Says Stamp Festive Fun release. My project features the Frosty die from this new release . I just love a great snowman die and yes it is finally cold outside! ❅ I made this A2 size card base from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down another panel of white cardstock that I masked off with a rectangle stencil to create a snowy wintery scene. To create the snow drifts I used scissors to cut out of scrap paper and placed it over the rectangle mask. I used distress ink and a blender brush. I die cut the parts of Frosty and colored him in with copic markers and a white detail pen. Using 3d foam squares to add him to the inked panel. I stamped the sentiment in red ink and used the coordinating die to cut to out and again used more 3d foam squares to pop it up. I hope you enjoyed the project I made and got some inspiration! I have listed and linked all the supplies. I use affiliate links

I am taking a small break from holiday cards to create a bright cheerful card to let you know that I am thinking of you! For a little bit of sparkle I am using This Calls for Confetti Sparkle all the Way confetti . I created this card using an A2 card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down another panel of white cardstock to create a diy plaid background. I taped down to the panel to my work surface and used long pieces of post it tape to create the lines that I ink blended with distress ink.  I just eyeballed each line I added and varied the thickness using a blender tool. It's s

All the Stars card

Hello crafty friends! I'm showing some love to items in my stash that haven't been used in a while. Hope you get some inspiration to "shop" your stash and create! I created this mini-slimline card using a white cardstock base. The base is about 3 1/4 inches by 6 1/4 inches. I then trimmed down a piece of gray cardstock to leave a bit of a white border and ran that through my  Swirled Ridges embossing folder  for some amazing texture. I used tape runner all over the back of that embossed panel to make sure it stuck nice and flat to my cardbase. I always use a little extra adhesive when adhering a piece of cardstock that has lots of texture.  I then took the  Stars die set  and cut out several stars from various shades of cardstock scraps. This is a great die set that has so many sizes of stars to cut out at once! I then spent what seemed like 10 hours😁 arranging the stars across the embossed panel before I adhered them with foam squares and liquid glue.  I die cut the
