 Hi all and welcome to another week of the  Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge . This week's challenge theme   A Bit 'O Green! We are featuring products from Mama Elephant . Fun theme this week! I am sharing decorative frames from Mama Elephant to showcase the flowers and leaves on this project. I began with an A2 size card base made with smooth white cardstock. I used a blender brush to add distress ink to the edges of the cardbase. I then die cut two of the frames from the Mama Elephant Eyelet Frames and adhered to the card base. I die cut the flowers and leaves from left over scraps of colored cardstock. I used gold paint to add gold "splatter" to the flowers and leaves before arranging them on the smaller frame with 3d foam squares. The blessed sentiment was die cut ...

Spring is just nipping at our heels and I needed some color therapy so I pulled out one of my favorite floral stamp sets. The  Simon Says Stamp Floral Garden  large stamp is so fun to color. I also pulled out my lonely colored pencils for a change. Always good to use items in your stash that haven't been used in a while!💖 I made this card using an A2 size card base cut from smooth white cardstock. I then used another piece of white cardstock to create my background panel. I trimmed it to leave a bit of a border. Using my MISTI I stamped the large image from the  Floral Garden stamp  using a light distress ink for that no line color look. I then colored all the flowers, leaves and stems in with colored pencils in spring colors. I then put the colored panel back in the MISTI to add a scripty all over image in a light green. I cut a few masks for the larger flowers before stamping. I then ink blended the edges with the same green color and adhered the panel to the card...

Hello crafty friends! I am sharing a super fun project today celebrating Spring! Always an amazing time of the year so I wanted to create project with butterflies and spring colors. This is a large 5x7 card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down a piece of fog cardstock to create a panel to leave a white border. Using the images from the Mix and Match Butterflies stamp set , I stamped them in alcohol friendly ink on white cardstock. I colored them with copic markers and fussy cut them out. I used 3d foam squares to adhere and arrange the colored images around the fog panel. I trimmed off the excess and adhered the panel to the cardbase. I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Blessed sentiment from gold cardstock and craft foam. I added it to a strip of white cardstock that I stamped "you are" on and adhered with glue. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would to see what you make. As always just for entering you will be eligible for the drawing of a  $25 voucher to the Simon store! I am happy to share a project featuring the gorgeous Tim Holtz Bold Botanicals stamp set . This set has four tiles of etched flower stamps. The only hard part was choosing which tile to use. On an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock I added a plaid panel that I created with copic markers. I chose some pastel colors and just eyeballed as I drew lines across and up and down. I then used the Simon Says Stamp Wonky Stitched Rectangle die to add some fun stitching to this panel. I used a tape runner to add adhesive lines to the plaid background panel. Hello my crafty friends! Today I made a couple of watercolor backgrounds. I struggle with watercoloring and today I just wanted to have some fun with it! These are easy easy to make. I have a short reel over on my Instagram page showing what I have done. I began with a piece of watercolor paper. I taped it down so it would not warp with all the water I would be using. I used a couple of drops in a plastic pallet for each color I wanted to use. I am using distress reinkers but you can use any dye reinker. I used three sizes of watercolor brushes to create vertical and horizontal line. I used my heat tool each time to avoid bleeding into each color. I then dropped more ink onto a clear block and with a little bit of water I splattered drops over the panel. I used my heat tool again and removed the tape. I then die cut the watercolored panel using the  A2 size thin frames to cut it out. I also cut the frames from gold cardstock. to frame my watercolored panel in gold. For this backgro...

It's release day! I am so happy to be sharing a project using some goodies from the new Simon Says Stamp Favorite Things release . I am featuring some goodies from this release and the smallest shaker element I have ever made😜 I began with an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then ran another piece of white cardstock through the new Radial Dots 3d embossing folder to create a fun colorful background with lots of texture. Using distress oxide and blending brushes I applied ink to the center of the embossed panel and worked my way out. Even though I used 3 colors when they overlapped it would create another color. I have listed the colors I used below. To create the small shaker I die cut the hello and shadow from the Stromanthe die set . I cut the hello once from white cardstock and once from craft foam. I then used the shadow to cut the acetate and the shaker backer from white cardstock. I adhered all the pieces together with liquid glue. Before adding the sha...
