We're Better Together card

Sharing a fun project not just for Valentines but for any occasion you want to let someone know they are special to you! This card features the adorable Sweet Friendship stamp set from the Simon Says Stamp Heart to Heart release.

Background: I trimmed down a piece of white cardstock to fit an A2 size card base to leave a bit of a border. I then used a stripe stencil from my stash to create a soft and simple plaid background. 

Focal Point: I created a shaker element using nesting square dies to make a frame. I adhered a clear acetate piece over the frame with liquid glue to contain the shaker bits. 

I created a cute scene for the shaker window by stamping a few of the images from the Sweet Friendship stamp set and colored them in with copic markers. I used their coordinating dies to cut them out and added them to the background that would be behind the shaker element.

Sentiment: Using a dark brown ink I stamped one of the sentiments that is included in the stamp set. I again used the coordinating die to cut it out three times for thickness and adhered it under the shaker window. I added a couple of heart frames in the corner cut from white cardstock.
