Simon Says Stamp Sweet Wishes Blog Hop - Day 1
I'm happy to be participating in day 1 of the Simon Says Stamp Sweet Wishes blog hop. I am sharing a project using the gorgeous new Poinsettia Field embossing folder.
I began with an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then placed another piece of white cardstock inside the Poinsettia Field embossing folder and ran it through my die cut machine to create the impression.
I then trimmed it down to fit the card base and leave a thin border. I colored the raised poinsettias with copic markers. Using gold paint and a paintbrush, I painted the centers of each flower.
I used a sentiment from the new Heartfelt Snowflakes stamp set. I stamped it using clear embossing ink and sprinkled gold embossing powder over and heat set it. When it was cooled I used the coordinating die to cut it out and added to the uncolored area of the embossed panel with foam tape.
There is a special offer for this blog hop! πππJust follow the steps to receive your free gift!
